Welcome! I am a storyteller with journalistic and creative production skills. My career spans documentary film, music videos, magazines, newspapers, non-profits and the United Nations. My film experience explores social justice issues inclusive of sentencing reform, immigration, race, and gender inequality. My editorial expertise extends to celebrity and popular culture, travel, real estate, fashion, beauty and food. My project management work covers human rights, sustainability, real estate and design, restorative justice, addiction, youth and aging. I have a knack for translating technical topics into easy-to-digest stories and messages.

More about me…

I was raised in Silver Spring, Maryland before leaving the suburbs for Washington, DC, New York City, and now, Los Angeles. When the right production comes along, I also spend time working in Mexico City.

I am always involved in a number of creative projects. 2020 was an interesting year for storytelling. When the world stopped, people thought more about the value of narrative. Now that things are opening again, I am excited to be returning to a project I am directing and producing. It is a documentary feature about the activist lives of several inspiring women who previously spent more than a life sentence incarcerated.

Meanwhile, my ultimate goal is to write for TV. I am plugging away at my fourth pilot, and playing with two feature film concepts. My voice and tone tend to skew to comedy and dramedy, but I also am intrigued by the formula of procedurals. I’ve been playing around with podcasting over the last two years. I previously cohosted a political show called Polidiots, but am interested in doing something not political. Producing a podcast has been super fun and reminiscent of radio work I did as a celebrity reporter a few moons ago. One day, I will find and upload some of that footage!
