YES, I TOO AM A STORYTELLER.
I dazzle with character and dialogue. My plethora of ideas nearly always make it out of my head and onto the screen.
But, I write across the platforms and create across mediums.
My career spans documentary film, music videos, magazines, newspapers, non- profits and the United Nations. My film experience explores social justice inclusive of sentencing reform, immigration, race, and gender inequality. My journalistic editorial expertise extends to travel, food, architecture and real estate, fashion, beauty, celebrity and popular culture. I have a knack for crafting powerful, consistent and integrated narrative experiences, I translate technical topics into easy-to-digest stories and messages.
I was raised in Silver Spring, Maryland before leaving the suburbs for Washington, DC, New York City, and now, Los Angeles. When the right production comes along, I also spend time working in Mexico City — CDMX if you’re an insider.
I am always involved in a number of creative projects, and am most excited to be directing and producing a documentary feature about the activist lives of several inspiring women who previously spent just under a life sentence incarcerated.
Meanwhile, I am plugging away at my fourth pilot — another dramedy. (Management: Ask me about them!) I am also cohosting a cheeky political podcast — a new thing for me, but super fun and reminiscent of radio work I got to do as a celebrity reporter a few moons ago.
