Shira Levine is a storyteller based in Los Angeles, bred in Manhattan and Washington, DC, and raised in Silver Spring, Maryland.

Her career spans magazines, newspapers, the Interweb, non-profits, and the United Nations. Depending on who is asking, she’s a journalist, writer, columnist, editor, researcher, communications expert and/or content strategist. A specialist in crafting powerful, consistent and integrated narrative experiences, she translates technical topics into easy-to-digest stories and messages for both internal and external consumption. Her editorial expertise extends to travel, real estate, food, fashion, beauty, art, popular culture and entertainment. Those skills were also used to project manage. Some exciting projects led to experiences around thematic issues that include: human rights and dignity, sustainability, restorative justice, prison recidivism and prisoner rights, trauma and addiction, sexual and reproductive rights, youth and aging. One of her favorite topics she’s produced content about is that of her nearly 105-year-old cheeky and highly opinionated grandma, Estelle Levine. Shira’s written four pilot scripts — three comedies and one drama.
